Tropical Storm Fay

Well, the hurricane never came, just lots of rain and everyone locally is happy.
Sometimes things just work out when they need to.

Breakfast;
Eggs fried up in a little bacon grease, 4 small slices of salami and a few apple slices.

Now it's my birthday today, so for dinner I will make one of my favorite little treats in the whole world; "Pao de Queijo"
This is a Brazilian staple. Simple tapioca cheese balls. They are delicious. I will eat many ;-)
Have a great day everyone!!!!!

Hi Marc! Glad Fay didn't cause too many problems. We've dodged a couple bullets since I've moved to Corpus. I was born and raised in New Orleans and I used to think hurricanes were exciting. Not now!!

Happy birthday!

So how was the Pao de Queijo? =)

Thank you Naomi and Lemur.

Lemur, the Pao de Queijo were delicious!!! And yes, I did eat to many ;-)

I'm curious if the tapioca flour has less of an insulin spike then regular flour. It should since it's a tuber basically. Anyone have any input on that?
I was craving them for my birthday.
They serve them at some of the Brazilian Steakhouses I've been to, but not always made from Tapioca flour, and then they don't taste as good with regular flour.
