Zucchini Hummus

I just updated Twitter so thought maybe this would be helpful.
In the food processor combine one large peeled zucchini (cut into a few chunks before putting in the processor), 2 small cloves of garlic, 2 tbs tahini, 1-2 tbsps of lemon juice, fresh parsley or cilantro and some sea salt.

Delicious with steak, chicken, fish or just on it's own.

Enjoy!

Oh this sounds excellent. Gonna fire this one up ASAP - need some tahini anyway for Elizabeth's Tahini Mustard Salad Dressing -> http://cavemanfood.blogspot.com/2009/03/tahini-mustard-salad-dressing.html

Yum! That sounds really good!! Unfortunately all I have is a small, old blender that smokes when I try to use it as a food processor. I really need to get off my butt and get one so I can start enjoying foods like this!

SOG,

Tahini is a paste made from sesame seeds. It's interesting as it is eaten from the middle east to the far east.
I really like the "Arrowhead Mills" brand.

Thanks for answering SOG's question as it was also mine. The Zook Hummus looks really good!

Jenny,
Thank you.
I don't eat hummus so this is a great alternative. Let me know how it came out.

smoketheblowfish,
They sell it in most supermarkets. No special trip needed to the health food store.
Thanks and hope you try it.
