Peace, tranguility and adventure in the mountains

Blue Ridge, Georgia.
Where the Appalachian Trail starts, and home to some of the oldest mountains in the world.
It's very beautiful here.

I've been trying to post some pics, but I think blogger is having some issues.

Last night's dinner;
Thin slices of rib eye, sauteed with garlic, onion, portobello mushrooms, spinach, asparagus and some raw endive on top for crunch.
First saute the mushrooms, garlic and onion, then add the thin sliced meat. Set aside. In same pan toss in diced asparagus and spinach. 2 glasses of red wine.
Simple. easy and tasty.

(nope, just tried again...won't let me upload pics)

I love the Appalachians, they're so lush. I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and I can't get enough of the scenery here. Can't wait to see your photos, I always keep my camera pointed out the car window here.

Jay,
I have heard of these guys.
I'm going to order that duck fat.
Not expensive either.......although it will be once I order the foie gras also.

Thanks for letting me know about it.
Too cool.
