"... I have seen that in any great undertaking it is not enough for a man to depend simply upon himself."

Lone Man (Isna-la-wica) Teton Sioux, was the wise man that said that.

We need each other in this world. So we better figure out how to get along.

Anywho; back to food ;-)

I still get a lot of emails with questions on how to get started eating this way.

So I offer this advice. Start simple and just make a small salad with some carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, scallions and drizzle with some olive oil. Now on top put the protein of your choice.

It's as easy as tossing some butter or coconut oil in a pan with some chopped garlic and some grass fed ground beef. Good luck and just keep doing it.

Well no food pics today but thought I'd share some local scenery;

One of the nice houses on the water here.

This house is located on the point where the bay flows into the gulf of Mexico. Not a bad spot right?

Same pass; boat going in and some people enjoy the beach and the views.

And some sunset shots; I never get tired of seeing the amazing sunsets here.

Marc, i went back to the Doctor today and told her i can't eat like she want's me to.So i told her about paleo and she said it sounded good just watch my calories she said egg's where fine even a little butter you know how Doctor's are about fat.So i e-mailed Aaron over at Mark's daily apple to tell him i would like to start the primal challenge,i told him i would eat egg's ,fruit for breakfast lunch a salad i hate salads except if it has kraft bluecheese dressing on it.nuts for a snack,and meat with 2 cups steamed veggies with butter how's that sound.Or do you think i should not have the fruit?I know the longer i think about a way to eat to lose weight the longer it will stay on me.I really do want to eat paleo im just a little scared of carb's,but then i saw your picture your in good shape,Art Devany,Mark Sisson,Super Mike all eat basicly the same way and are not fat.The only thing about my menu is it;s a little bland,like tonight i have hamburger in the fridge should i just make hamburgers on the grill.

sorry it's a long post

thank you Bill

Thank you Naomi.

Bill;
Keep going, you're doing great.
I would stay away from the fruit completely for a while.

Lemur,
They are awesome here.

Sarena,
You are welcome. Like I said, I enjoyed the updates.
