For my own records?

Well, don't know if anyone has missed my posts, but I'm back to posting, as it gives me a good way to upkeep my own food journal.

Hope everyone has been checking Art Devany's site. Great new posts on workouts as well as meal pictures. I use his type of workouts with great succes.

Breakfast;
4 raw asparagus stalks wrapped in 2 slices of salami (pay for the healthy stuff like applegate farms with no nitrates) half an apple, some dark grapes and a clementine.

This morning workout consisted of some sprinting, walking , jumping around skipping to some good music accompanied by wonderful morning sunshine.

Hey Marc, I missed your posts! In fact, I'm totally sure that I posted on your last entry to say as much, but I guess it never went through? I fired it off quickly right before leaving town for a week, so maybe I hit "preview" instead of "post" and then shut the window? Seems probable, I'm a space cake like that.

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving though! I haven't eaten super well the past couple days, mostly to avoid awkward conversations about why I don't eat grains or potatoes with people who will never understand. You should have seen the look on my mother's face when I turned down her "healthy" cereals. "But... it's HEALTHY..." She seemed appalled that I grabbed a chunk of cucumber & a couple slices of lunchmeat turkey from her fridge for breakfast.

I have attempted to do better in the non-family hours, eating a bowl of tuna & a handful of blackberries Thanksgiving morning and pomegranates for a late snack. Poms have some sugar, but at least they're not cupcakes. I'll be helping eat leftovers tonight, but I WILL be having my normal salad with it. Half a cup of soggy greenbeans just won't do for one more night. I'm proud that I did manage to ignore the corn & bread, and only ate a few bites of stuffing & potatoes. Still got the itis afterwards though.

I trust you have been stronger in your choices than I have. What did you eat for Thanksgiving? That would make a great update, haha. :)

Also, raw asparagus? I've never eaten it raw. Does it really taste good? I'd be willing to give it a shot.
